Jolabokaflod (pronounced yo-la-bok-a-flot) is an Icelandic holiday tradition that roughly translates to “Yule Book Flood”
Join us for a cozy evening in celebrating good books, good food, and good friends.

Time: 5:30-7:30pm

- one new, wrapped book (see information below on how books will be selected)

The Icelandic tradition involves gifting a book you love to the people in your life and then spending the evening reading them together (oh, and there’s chocolate!).
Please fill out the given form with a list of 3-5 books you have loved and would like to gift to someone in our community. Well Read Books will purchase and wrap new books from the collected lists of attendees. Each wrapped book will state what genre it is. If you happen to open a book you have already read, or that you are not interested in, you will be given the opportunity to swap it.
After selecting our books, we will spend the rest of the evening enjoying food and the hot chocolate bar and either socializing with other book lovers or getting snug and cozy by the fireplace and cracking open our new books.
