Thank you for your interest in our local authors consignment program!As an independent bookstore, we are very happy and proud to carry local, indie authors.
All authors must submit the form below to be considered. Walk-in and email submissions will not be considered.
Because this program is designed for local authors, you must be located within a 30 mile radius of Well Read Books in Elk River, MN.
Please note, we consider ourselves to be an inclusive store and will not accept any books that include hate toward any group of people.
Please fill out the below form as an initial application. Be sure to include a link to your work or website if possible. We will contact you within 2 weeks (please do not reach out before this time) to let you know if we are interested in carrying your work. At that point, you will be sent a consignment agreement to fill out and return to us at the store, along with a physical, finished copy of any book you wish to be considered. All sample books will be reviewed by our staff. If not accepted, sample books must be picked up within 30 days of notification.
New applications will not be accepted during the months of November and December.
