Our 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚-𝙞𝙣 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 is the perfect way to make sure the books you are no longer going to read go to a good home, support your local indie bookstore, AND get a discount on new/used books for yourself!
Here’s how trade-ins work:
We can only accept popular books released 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩 10 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝗘𝗫𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. Preference will be given to books published in the last 3 years. The genres we accept will depend on what our current stock looks like. Hardcover books will only be accepted if the title is not available in paperback, is a special/limited edition, or is in high demand.
Please bring in no more than 10 books at a time. Keep in mind, we are only able to accept books when we are not busy as we do not have space to store them and must be able to go through them while you are in the store. If the store is busy when you come in, you may be asked to bring them back another time.
We do NOT accept books more than 10 years old, books with any damage (writing or highlighting, bent/torn pages, water damage, etc.), magazines, text books, or mass market (small) paperbacks.
For your trade-in, you will receive a credit that must be used that day. Credits will range from $0.50-$4 per book accepted.
Even if your books meet all criteria above, we may or may not be able to accept them, based on the space we have available at the time and our ability to sell specific titles.
